Christina Lyne School of Reflexology
Professional Reflexology Practitioner Diploma
There are many schools, colleges and organisations offering various qualifications and styles of training which can be very confusing when trying to choose the right Reflexology course. The course that we offer is to a much higher standard than is provided by the basic Level 3 Diploma course. It provides a thorough grounding in the theory and underpinning aspects of Reflexology, and places a great emphasis on the practical aspects of Reflexology. The course is taught by me, Christina Lyne the School principal, who has over 20 years experience and has taught at all levels of Reflexology learning.
The course syllabus is based on the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) Core Curriculum and incorporates the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Reflexology. All the course units have been specifically designed for Reflexology by Reflexologists.
As an independent School and not reliant on government funding we can be flexible in our training methods and are therefore more able to respond to individual student’s needs. We focus on the training and requirements necessary to become a competent, practicing, professional reflexologist. To ensure that our high standards are maintained, the School is externally verified each year by an experienced Reflexology tutor.
Upon qualification, graduates can apply for registration with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) – the UK’s complementary health register. Graduates will also be able to join Professional Reflexology (PR), one of the best known and respected professional Reflexology membership organisations in the UK who offer specialist insurance cover, provide advice, information services and an ongoing educational programme.
Course Description
As you progress through the course you will be continually assessed in the practical and theoretical aspects. In addition you should set aside approximately eight to ten hours per week to work on home assignments which will include 10 case studies. We provide a recommended reading list at the beginning of the course.
Classes are held one weekend per month over a period of approximately 9 months in Middleton-on-Sea, Bognor Regis, West Sussex. Each day runs from 9.30am to 5.00pm with a one hour break for lunch and a short break each morning and afternoon.
"The course combines the practical and theory elements of Reflexology and is extremely thorough in it's approach, and you can tell Christina has years of experience. There's so much to take in but she is by your side all the way. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to retrain or change their career. Just brilliant!"

FAQs
How long is the course?
The course runs over 9 months of attending one weekend per month. By the last weekend you will have completed all your theory and will be well on your way with completing the case study treatments. But you will need to expect that you will be still doing case study treatments for another 3-4 months (it will depend on you). This is why your membership of Professional Reflexology and your insurance covers you for 18 months.
How large is the class size?
I have a maximum of 6 students. This is so I can provide you with the best support I can as individuals, and, as as a group. We meet for one weekend per month for the course but we also meet online half way through each month for catch up, check there are no problems, answer any questions and maybe for some teaching. You also have a WhatsApp Group where you can ask any questions and will get a quick response and of course there is text, phone and email access to myself.
Are there any extra costs?
Yes.
You will need to purchase a couch or lafuma chair to carry out your home treatments and to bring to the practical days on the course weekends. Information will be provided when you have booked your place on the course. You will also need towels, blanket, pillow, talc, cream and cleanser.
You will receive a free foot and hand chart.

Hand Reflexology - One Day Course
This One Day Hand Reflexology Course will teach you all you need to know to be able to perform a professional and beneficial treatment for yourself and your clients. You will be able to offer Hand Reflexology as a stand-alone treatment and you will also be shown how to incorporate it within a reflexology treatment.
You will also cover how to enable clients to use for self-help. Detailed hand reflexology theory will be the basis of a fast-moving workshop to get you competent and confident working hands for better health and you will also perform 2 hand reflexology treatments giving you as much practical practice as well.
When we learn and use Reflexology, we work primarily on the feet and tend to leave hand reflexology as a back-up. As a result, many Reflexologists do not feel as comfortable using hand reflexology and its benefits are not as widely known by the general public. Working on the hands is fantastic. Not only are they easily accessible but many people are actually more comfortable with having their hands worked on, particularly if they are self-conscious about their feet. Of course, one of the major benefits of hand reflexology is that you can work on your own hands very easily and bring about dramatic results.
This is a fantastic one day course in Hand Reflexology giving you another therapy to use alongside your Reflexology treatment.
