Practitioner Diploma in Essential Oil Therapy
The Practitioner’s Certificate in Essential Oil Blending is taught by Christina Lyne, Aromalyne Training & Christina Lyne School of Reflexology and is comprehensive and practical. You will study and gain the knowledge of the principle of the use of Essential Oil, Essential Oil Blends, Carrier oils and the making of Natural Products. You will learn the benefits of essential oils and how to implement them into your natural products for yourself and for your clients, understand the effects and sources of essential oils, provide safe and effective treatments to clients in difference circumstances and apply essential oils in mediums such as creams, lotions, balm and water based products.
This is a professional, in depth qualification for those wishing to practice Essential Oil Therapy with confidence, safety and therapeutic skill and offers a comprehensive, holistic and practical pathway into professional essential oil practice..
This advanced diploma builds on foundational blending skills and takes you deeper into essential oil science, therapeutic application, aroma psychology, consultation skills, formulation, and safe product creation.
You will learn how to work confidently with essential oils to support clients physically, emotionally and energetically — without performing aromatherapy massage.
Graduates may use the title Essential Oil Therapy Practitioner. This course is fully insurable with Balens and meets the requirements for professional practice.
Duration
This practitioner diploma includes 100–120 Guided Learning Hours, made up of:
12 attended online sessions (7–9pm, one evening per week)
2 full in person practical workshops (9.30am–4.30pm)
Home study (approx. 40–60 hours)

Practitioner Diploma in Essential Oil Therapy (Dip. EOT)
This qualification allows you to practise professionally as an Essential Oil Therapy Practitioner. This course does not qualify you to carry out Aromatherapy Massage.

- Suitable for beginners or qualified therapists
- Level 3 qualification in Anatomy & Physiology OR complete the Anatomy & Physiology Module as part of this course (at an additional cost).
